The Uncompahgre River below Pacochukapuk fished well yesterday with rainbows aggessively chasing a white and gray articulating streamer. Fish were caught in numerous types of holding water. Inside cut banks, behind large boulders and in the deeper runs behind the man-made wiers. Midges and Mayflies hatched all morning and fish could be taken with a downstream approach and a size 24 midge cluster or size 22Adams pattern. Crowds were non-existant.
